Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data we process, why and for how long, and what rights you have. It follows the Macedonian Law on Personal Data Protection (Official Gazette no. 42/2020).

Who processes your data

The controller of your personal data is NILUMA DOO uvoz-izvoz Skopje, Sv. Kiril i Metodij 48, Skopje, company registration number (EMBS) 7972423.

For anything to do with your data, email us at contact@niluma.mk.

When you visit the site

The site has no sign-up, analytics or advertising, and sets no cookies. The only form is the contact form, described in the next section. Fonts and images come from the site's own server, so your browser makes no requests to other companies while you read it.

Like any web server, the server that hosts the site briefly logs technical details of each request: the IP address, the time, the address requested and the type of browser. They are used only to keep the site secure and working. We do not use them to identify you.

When you leave your email in the form

The contact form asks only for your email address. It also has a hidden field, which visitors do not see, to stop automated spam.

When you send it, the site emails your address to our mailbox, contact@niluma.mk, together with the language of the page and the time it was sent. The email is delivered by Resend, an email delivery provider, and our mailbox is hosted by Zoho Mail. The site itself keeps no copy, and the form sets no cookie.

We use your address only to reply to your request and, if you ask, to assess your building or prepare a quote. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a contract. We do not send you marketing messages without your consent.

When you write to us or call

We process the details you give us: your name, email, phone number, company name and what you tell us about your building.

We use them to reply, assess your building and prepare a quote. If we sign a contract, we also use them to deliver the project and provide the warranty.

Legal basis

We process your data on one of these grounds:

  • steps you ask us to take before a contract, and performing the contract: replying, assessment, quote, installation and warranty;
  • legal obligation: keeping accounting and tax records;
  • legitimate interest: running the site securely and keeping a record of correspondence.

We do not send marketing messages. If we ever start, we will ask for your consent first.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or give it to others for their own purposes.

Only companies that help us run the business and process data on our instructions have access:

  • Netlify, the provider that hosts the site;
  • Resend, the email delivery provider that sends us the address you leave in the form;
  • Zoho Mail, which hosts our mailbox.

We also share data with public authorities when the law requires it.

Our mailbox is kept in the European Union. Netlify and Resend are US companies and may process data in the United States. We transfer data outside Macedonia only to countries with an adequate level of protection, or under the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Correspondence, quote requests and the address you leave in the form: as long as we need them to reply to you and, if you ask, prepare a quote. If no contract follows, we delete them once we no longer need them.
  • Contract data: for as long as the contract and the warranty run, and accounting records for as long as the regulations require.
  • Server logs: briefly, only as long as the site's security requires.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data and get a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • have its processing restricted;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • receive the data you gave us in a common electronic format;
  • withdraw your consent, where processing is based on it.

Send your request to contact@niluma.mk. We will reply without undue delay, and within one month at the latest.

If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency (azlp.mk).

Security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Only the people who need it for their work have access to it.

Changes

If we start processing data differently, for example if we add analytics or ask for more details in the form, we will update this policy. The date of the last change is at the top of the page.
